First day back at work…..

It was hard to get up this morning, my alarm went off at 4.45am and for a split second I didn’t know what on earth the noise was!

All too soon reality hit and I remembered my holiday was over!

Today I picked a quilt to wash and give a freshen up, thought you might like to see another of my early quilts.

Appropriately titled “Baskets” this quilt was a block of the month from the same shop that supplied this project.

Machine and hand appliquéd, hand quilted. Completed 1996.

These are my favourite blocks.

My newest project is much smaller and as different from the above quilt as chalk and cheese.

Not quite completed, I was looking for a bowl or basket to display ‘the girls’ in, then remembered a fabric ‘basket’ from the Sew Pretty Homestyle book that will be just perfect!
