OMG! have I died and gone to heaven?
Here we are at Mount Alford and I am having such a wonderfully relaxing time with a small group of ladies that I may never want to leave.
The view from our cabin is just divine.
Last nights dinner was Chicken “In Pajama’s” as my daughter refers to it, and orange liquor crepes with ice-cream
.
The diner table conversation was good value as always, although Jodie didn’t make it until a little later, so tonight's dinner table will have a full compliment.
An award was presented by Cath to Bev for an ‘Incident” at 2010’s retreat. called “Gourd did I really do that?”
filled with choky goodies that Bev graciously shared with us all.
Jodie enjoyed a few moments catching up on her reading.
After a fabulous nights sleep we are all in the sewing room getting some lovely projects done. Except me of course, I’m busy blogging!

Hi Julie, retreat looks great! Where is Mount Alford? It is so lovely to get away and stitch and not be side tracked by housework etc. Glad you enjoyed it. Di.

Yes it was indeed a terrific weekend... food was delicious, company was the best anyone could wish for and many laughs were had once again... and the winner for next years "My Gourd Did I Do That" has been choosen... LOL and in amongst all of the fun we managed to get some beautiful items finished.......
