It’s official! We have had our wetest September on record!

And yes it’s still rainy and overcast today, now that it’s October, I thought we may have had our quota of rain!

Today I want to share my wax melt experience with you.

I love candles! They make me happy, they give my home a delicious, welcoming scent and I never resist the temptation to buy them whenever the opportunity arises.

As I mentioned in this post we were in a candle shop at Abbie Lane, on the New England Highway at Highfields last weekend.

I wish you could smell this…………

P1030234 It smells like BABY!

Not the poohy, need a nappy change kinda baby, or the upchuck, spoiled milk kinda baby, but that freshly bathed and wearing clean clothes kinda baby!  I tried to point it out the Greg, but he didn’t see the connection.  Leah walked in the door yesterday and said “Why can I smell baby?”

Not that she has had that experience yet (wish she’d hurry up) but she has washed all the baby clothes, nappies and bedding and prepared the room, and it is exactly the same smell!

P1030236 It started out looking like this, and who’d a though how divine this little melt would turn out to be?

Thanks for visiting.

It really does smell like baby :) It's amazing! I think I might have to go back to that shop just to get me some baby smell since my own 'baby smell' doesn't seem to be in a hurry to arrive!!!
