Friday again…..my favourite day of the working week!

It’s been a little while since my last blog post and for a moment I didn’t think I had anything to blog about, but it seems I have been doing a few things.

Card classes had a scrap booking theme, what better opportunity to begin a wedding album for Leah!

On the stitching front I have made my son-in-law Corrie, a wheat bag for his aching back! It is a little bigger than I planned, I just hope the weight doesn’t make his back worse??

Candied Hexagons have once again had some work done on them. I went to a Southern Cross Quilters GTG recently and my friend Pam had some of hers for show and tell and it motivated me to get back to my hexies

P1030089 These ones have been added to the completed pile, with these cut and ready for stitching, there will be 22 in all once these are completed.

I have borrowed the rotary cutting mat from Gail O, it seems to like it at my place……?

This week I am in planning/preparation mode for a Baby Show Tea for Leah, these invitations took several nights to complete, but I really enjoyed making them.

Now it’s time for a nanny nap…..I think I may be coming down with a cold……agh!

Thanks for visiting.

All looks fantastic Julie. I'm sure the invitations will be well received.

Your scrapbook pages are so pretty! What beautiful photos of Leah. Can't say that Corrie's wheat bag is "pretty," but I bet it does the job.

Good progress on those hexies! Love the colors.

Sorry you're under the weather. I hate it when I know a cold is coming on, and I hope yours passes quickly.

I've missed your blog posts. More, soon please!

I hope you've managed to ward off that cold Julie, you don't have time to be sick.
Love your hexies....love your beautiful photos of Leah and Corrie, and your scrapbooking is fabulous too.
