Day two…and it is freezing!

This is the scene that greeted us this morning…frosty!

The sun shining shows the crystals of ice falling very much like snow.

After a start of –7deg it was a beautiful day. We took a leisurely approach to the day, by checking out the Visitor Centre, and then going into Coonabarabran to get a few groceries and fuel for the car.  Also a couple of pairs of gloves!

The block of ice Jordan is holding was in the little water feature/bird bath, just outside the Visitor Centre.

Okay 19 degrees F is cold. Do you often camp at these temperatures? Or is this a weather fluke? I hope the beauty of everything you're seeing surpasses the cold.
