Just 3 more sleeps…..

Ta-Da!

My Christmas Cake is ready to go…..

P1020320

My very first decorated Christmas Cake I might add.  I’ve made fruit cakes before and even made fruit cakes for Christmas, but this is the first one I have iced and decorated, and I can’t help but feel very proud of my efforts.

Here is the mess I made…….

Not a big mess really, but messy enough for me!

P1020328 I must admit I did cheat just a little and used this ready prepared icing, that just needed to be kneaded and rolled out to cover the cake.  The decorations came from my sewing room……as only a true patch-worker would understand!

My list of chores are slowly being whittled down, tomorrow I must face the supermarket, the butcher and the greengrocer.

I’m still smiling, this time tomorrow may see a different version of me?

Thanks for visiting.

Congratulations on the cake. It looks scrumptious... as do your fingernails! What a glam-girl you are! Now I'm really impressed.

Merry Christmas, friend!
