Thanks to Di Bowles encouragement I have now completed two applique blocks for my Dear Jane Quilt.

I chose to do needle turn applique. I printed the design from EQ onto freezer paper, then cut it out on the finished line, ironed it to my chosen fabric then cut around it leaving a scant 1/4" seam allowance.
Using Roxanne Glue I tacked it to my background square and proceeded to applique it from there using silk thread. It was very easy, and turned out reasonably neatly......I know! I know! finished is better than perfect.....I'm working on that!
