Scrap Bucket

Here is the completed scrap bucket I made last week. It has been used twice already to hold threads and fabric scraps at a workshop I recently attended.

This is the blog where I found the tutorial. Check it out if you feel the urge to make one of your own.

Quick and scrap box friendly. I adjusted the sizes of the squares to accommodate the 2 1/2" strips of fabric I had in my scrap box. and added a binding, as that too had already been cut and just waiting to be used in another little project.

I love it when I can use some one's inspiration to create my own variations of their theme.

Makes me feel almost creative!!!

PS I think they'd make super gifts for quilters with some FQ's or other stuffs inside.. will put that on my list of 'to do's' too!
