My new project for JUNE 2008

Sewn in Time is a pattern book from Threads of Time. I bought it with a gift voucher Greg gave me for my birthday late last year. It is designed with fat quarters in mind, but also gives the cutting instructions if using across the width of the bolt fabric too! Makes it a great value pattern.

I chose the fat quarters from my stash several weeks ago, it took a few sessions of cutting to get all the peices cut, and it has been sitting on my sewing table ever since. I have been dusting around it for so long that earlier this week I had
to wipe the pattern book over the leg of my jeans
to get the layer of dust of it!

That convinced me that this long weekend I would have to get it stiched together, if only to save it from collecting any more dust!

I have a confession.....I may not have used one brown toned fabric in this quilt.......truthfully I can't really remember without flicking throught the cut fabric....there may be one lurking?

Hi Julie

Loved reading your blog and will come back and visit. Your little dog is very cute, if you go to my blog and look under favorite blogs, go to Lurline and you will meet another Georgie girl puppy.

cheers
Christine

Hi Julie, had a lovely little read of your blog again. Lovely to see the Buttonberry quilt finished. I made mine queen size, but it's still not finished, will send it out for quilting I think. Raining here today, so not sure whether to bake or sew (maybe both). Happy sewing!

Hi Julie,

Our profiles are similar! Almost same age, daughter 17, son 13 and husband's name starts with G. Then we also have a Maltese Shitzu dog "Belle" 18 months old (tri-colour ... sorry, but she was just the one we liked the best!). Love quilting! Good luck with your June project.

Cheers Anne
