Barrel Bag - started earlier this year.....
Would you believe this bag only needed a button? Well almost only needed a button. The pattern called for a button and a thread loop but I decided that idea wasn't really practical considering the size button I had chosen.
So a little unpicking of the binding was required in order for me to slip in a fabric loop.
Oh and of course this bag once again used fabric from my stash, although I did need to purchase some Shapewell to stabilize the sides and handle.
Another UFO bites the dust!

Lovely Julie, congratulations on finishing something so lovely and unusual. Your pattern or one you bought?
I just came out with the intent of getting a bit closer to the finish line with one I am working on.....but I go slow these days.

Julie your barrell bag is so cute! Can you tell me where the pattern can be purchased?
This bag is beautiful!
I notice some of your other readers are asking about the pattern and I would love to know also. I'm a fan of English paper piecing and that bag would be perfect as a small project.
