My First Fabric Postcard

I need to thank my friend Pam for inspiring me to make some fabric postcards. She sent me my very first one and I seem to have been obsessed with making my own ever since.
It has been difficult finding the time for what seems like a frivolous pursuit, but it has been well worth the effort. I feel quite motivated by the challenge and I do love the results.
I have been able to use my own hand-dyed fabrics and my large collection of machine embroidery threads, so it isn't so much a frivolous pursuit as an exercise is using what I have been collecting and also getting my creative juices flowing!
