Are you tired of my count down yet?? Nah me either!!
I have managed to fit in some retail therapy…..I’m incorrigible aren’t I?
I’ve been making my own bias binding and used some on the makeup bag on the left.
In the mean time I have again kept myself busy in my sewing room spending some more time on my Carpenters Star blocks.
I finished the fourth block and began working on the sashings. I realized that I had inverted a section of one block and went to bed last night knowing I couldn’t let it remain, it meant unpicking. This morning I unpicked the sashing and the offending block problem, it wasn’t as hard as I was expecting!
With more stitching required to complete the middle sashings I chose to rest it at this point to tackle a smaller project.
This eye mask is for my inflight napping! Just need to get some earplugs now, not necessarily for the flight, but I have heard rumours one of my travel companions may snore!!!LOL
The rest of my day was spent catching up with recorded TV programs while I did some knitting.
Now it’s about that time of the night for a cuppa, tonight I’m having Red Green Vanilla it’s very easy drinking too.
Thanks for visiting,
Julie xxx

I'm wishing you a marvelous time on your trip. Your cosmetic case will be just perfect for traveling. And your eye cover is such a good idea. Don't wear earplugs! You'll only listen to yourself breathing, and you won't be able to sleep that way either! I can see you're a shopper at heart. It will be interesting to see the purchases from Hawaii that you blog about!
