Australasian Quilt Convention just a peek……

As you will notice, I was drawn to the less traditional quilts, although my own quilting style is most definitely traditional. As much as I love looking at these quilts, I have no desire to replicate or do anything even similar to these works of art…..simply appreciate that I’ve seen them up close and admire the workmanship and vision that went into their making.


Just because it’s the Easter weekend and I know we can always use an excuse to smile…

Thanks for posting the pictures of quilts at AQC Julie...I didn't get there this year and haven't seen much of the display...aren't they incredible!

Thank for the pictures of AQC. Can you tell me who made the quilt in the second photo, the landscape with the bare tree? It is really lovely.

oh how cute is that bunny? Enjoyed looking at the quilt photos. I love the work of Dianne Firth and appreciate the art quilts too.
